Should Everyone Wear Gemstones?

Planetary gemstones are among the most misused tools in popular astrology. Recommending a stone purely by sun sign ignores the complexity of an individual birth chart.

A gemstone is meant to strengthen the influence of a specific planet in a specific chart, at a specific time. Worn incorrectly, it can amplify an already dominant — or even challenging — planetary energy rather than balancing it.

Not everyone requires a gemstone. In many consultations, the more appropriate recommendation is a behavioural or ritual remedy rather than a physical object.

Before wearing any planetary gemstone, a proper evaluation of the birth chart — including planetary strength, current transits and life circumstances — is essential.
